UK Parliamentary General Election in 2015
Register to vote by Monday 20 April – your vote matters, make sure you’re in
To vote at the UK general election on Thursday 7 May, you must register to vote by Monday 20 April.
Count arrangements :
We have requested information from (Acting) Returning Officers on their count arrangements. Below you can find details about the count arrangements where they are known so far for the 632 parliamentary constituencies in England, Scotland and Wales.
The Electoral Commission requests and publishes the information in order to provide electoral administrators, candidates, the media and the public with more information about the different count arrangements that are in place.

While we have asked for this information, (Acting) Returning Officers are not required to provide it. Not all (Acting) Returning Officers have submitted their count arrangements and this is recorded as ‘no information received’.
The spreadsheet was first published on 7 April 2015. We will update this spreadsheet every Friday (starting on 10 April) with any additional information be provided to us by those areas that have not yet responded to our requests. Any new information or changes will be highlighted in yellow and will only stay highlighted for a week before the spreadsheet is updated again.
In Northern Ireland counting in all 18 constituencies will take place overnight in eight count venues. For more information on the arrangements for each count venue contact the Electoral Office for Northern Ireland
Local government and mayoral elections in England
On Thursday 7 May, local government elections are taking place across England (excluding London). A number of mayoral elections are also taking place.
