Announcement to the Lebanese community in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland And the Lebanese community in Ireland

Registration of expatriate Lebanese to vote – outside Lebanon- in the 2022 Parliamentary Elections

The Embassy of Lebanon to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland received the following modalities related to the opening of registration for expatriate Lebanese wishing to exercise their right to vote in the 2022 parliamentary elections, outside Lebanon:

When?

Registration will take place starting October 1, 2021 until November 20, 2021 (midnight Beirut time, 10:00 pm UK time). The date of the elections for Lebanese living abroad and the voting process will be announced at a later stage (as soon as communicated by relevant authorities).

How can I Register?

Every Lebanese born before March 30, 2001 is eligible to register by, either:

1- Online registration on the following link: https://diasporavote.mfa.gov.lb (this link will be live as of October 1, 2021)

2- Attending personally to the Lebanese Consulate in London (15 Palace Garden Mews, London, W8 4RB) with the required documents mentioned below (part 5)

In case of online registration, the following procedure must be followed:
1. Create an account: enter your personal information (name, last name, phone number and email)
2. Activate the account: by clicking on the link sent to your email
3. Choose the country and city of residence (state if applicable) and the Embassy

4. Search for your name in the electoral lists: (start by choosing the language)
** If using Arabic language, the required personal information must be filled (the governorate, district, town, register number, …) and then extract your name from the electoral lists (the information can be modified or added in case of any error)
** If using other languages your personal file can be uploaded in its entirety.

5. Upload the required documents (kindly upload clear copies):
One of the following: Lebanese identity card, an extract of a Lebanese civil status, or a Lebanese passport. AND

One of the following: Residence permit (British or Irish), Passport (British or Irish), driver’s license (British or Irish), a Lebanese passport with an immigrant visa or a work permit.
