How to Join Malaysian Indian Congress Membership?
To Join Malaysian Indian Congress MIC Membership follow the below steps
Steps:
Step-1 : Go to the link given above
Step-2 : Click on “Join Us” link
Step-3 : Then Click on “Online Membership” link
Step-4 : Enter Full Name (as per IC)
Step-5 : Select Gender
Step-6 : Enter Email
Step-7 : Enter Address
Step-8 : Enter Phone number
Step-9 : Enter I.C. Number
Step-10 : Upload I.C Copy (Back & Front) Upload up to 5 supported files. Max 100 MB per file.
Step-11 : Enter Occupation
Step-12 : Enter Date of Birth
Step-13 : Enter Details [Have you been a member of any other political parties in Malaysia? If yes, please state party and year of membership.]
Step-14 : Click Agree Icon [This is to confirm that all the information above is true and shall be used by the Malaysian Indian Congress for the purpose of membership. ]
Step-15 : Click on “Submit” Button.
MIC Membership Qualification
A person of either sex shall qualify for membership if he or she:
** Is a Malaysian citizen of Indian origin and above eighteen years of age
** subscribes to the aims and objectives of the congress and ;
** undertakes to abide by the constitution and bye-laws of the congress

About Malaysian Indian Congress
The Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) s a Malaysian political party and is one of the founding members of the ruling coalition, Barisan Nasional, previously known as the Alliance, that has been in power since the country achieved independence in 1957.
The MIC was established in August 1946, and has ceased to exist at the end of World War II, to fight for Indian independence from British colonial rule. After India gained its independence, MIC involved itself in the struggle for the independence of Malaya (now Malaysia which was achieved in 1957.
Aims & Objectives of Malaysian Indian Congress
The aims and objects of the Congress shall be:-
** To safeguard and defend the independence and sovereignty of Malaysia;
** To uphold and preserve the Constitution of Malaysia and the principles of Rukun Negara;
** To safeguard and promote the political, economic, educational, cultural and social interests of Indians in Malaysia;
** To represent, express and give effect to the legitimate aspirations of Indians in Malaysia;
** To promote and maintain inter-racial harmony and goodwill;
** To consider, assist and deal with all matters affecting the interests of the whole or any section of the Community in a fair and just manner;
** To co-operate or work with other organizations whose interests and objects are similar to those of the Congress;
** To promote the advancement of Malaysia in co-operation with other communities;
** Generally to do all such acts and things as may be conducive to the furtherance of all or any of the objects of the Congress.
